Fees & engagement terms
Pricing follows the shape of the work — fixed fees for defined engagements, day rates for sessions, and quotes where succession or multi-entity complexity needs scoping first.
Advisory fees are quoted before work begins. The figures below are guidance so you can judge fit; your letter of engagement states the exact amount, schedule, and what is included.
| Consultation | Typical basis | Guidance |
|---|---|---|
| Strategic growth planning | Fixed engagement fee | From £8,500 for a single-entity firm with one primary site |
| Owner strategy sessions | Half-day rate | From £1,450 per half-day, materials included |
| Market position review | Fixed fee | From £4,200 |
| Succession & continuity planning | Quote | Scoped after a fit call — complexity and stakeholders vary |
What influences the fee
- Number of sites, brands, or trading entities
- Whether on-site days outside our usual travel radius are required
- Depth of financial and customer data available at the start
- Whether managers beyond the owner need facilitated sessions
Payment rhythm
Fixed-fee engagements are usually invoiced 50% on acceptance and 50% on delivery of the written plan, unless the letter of engagement sets a different schedule. Session work is invoiced after each session or as a short package. Fees are exclusive of VAT where applicable.
What we do not do
We do not offer monthly software-style subscriptions, “credits,” or packaged tiers that ignore scope. If your need is lighter than a full plan, we will say so and point you to sessions or a review instead.
